Pastor- Servant Leader

Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church is a body of baptized believers who glorify God through lives changed by the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Bible is the complete, inspired, inerrant Word of God.

Zion Fair Missionary Baptist Church is a place where all members are valued and are encouraged to utilize their spiritual gifts, talents, and treasures to serve God, each other, and our community to grow God’s kingdom.

Pastoral Qualifications

(1 Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 5-9, and 1 Peter 5: 1-4)

We prayerfully seek a Pastor to lead this congregation to spiritual maturity by preaching Sunday Worship services, teaching weekly Bible Studies, and Sunday School lessons, as the Lord leads. He will have sound doctrine and Theology utilizing The Holy Bible in its entirety.

We seek a servant leader who will work with members to grow in faith while demonstrating the love of God and His Word. It is important to us that our Pastor has a pastoral heart with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds, willing and able to comfort and counsel those hurting, confused, and broken.

The Pastor should have vigorous evangelism efforts to include discipleship training and community outreach to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Pastor will be forward-thinking, helping define our mission and vision of where God is leading us.

The Pastor shall demonstrate an authentic, God-centered life; passionate for Jesus Christ and a heart committed to sharing Christ with others. He shall serve as a role model of one committed to conducting their private and public life with personal integrity, love, joy, humility, and holiness. We want our pastor to model healthy family priorities – he will make his family a priority.
